    I have worked like crazy on skaduzy's crazy quilt and it's finished, ready to post. Can't believe I got my act together this month

    I hope July is Patriotic month cause I have found a great little pattern I want to try out. But now to think about next month.... Hmmmm!!!

    I have some thoughts and ideas on the crazy dq, now that I have a new machine with all these stitches, want to try each one, crazy quilt??? hmmm, maybe with, someone is gonna be my guinea pig (miss spelled?), ok.ok I won't go overboard!

    this is going to be fun!!

    I would also love to see pictures of that doll and clothing collection! I just have to be careful not to let my OCD take me away. I really don't need another obsession, and that sounds like a good one. LOL I have my partners DQ almost done. Needs a label, then will spend some time adding embelishments. You can never "finish" a crazy, you just have to stop. Here is a sneeky peeky!!

    I have a double window and a shelf going across the entire window is filled with dolls I rescued at garage sales, lol! I used to have a bed in this room and when you awoke in the morning, the first thing you saw were little feet hanging over the edge, lol! I don't care if people think I'm weird or not--I still have fun!

    The hideous crocheted doll in the 3rd picture is one my DH bought from his Mom's church sale--he brought it back to me after a trip to Knoxville to see his mother. For some reason I wasn't along on that trip--don't remember why now. In this collection (someone mentioned having a few--so do I) I have Roseanne, Barbie, The Lone Ranger, (Drowsy, given to me by my sister when I was 25) The StayPuffMarshmallowMan, The Fonz, The Gerber boy/girl dolls, a Kewpie doll and many other dolls to watch over me every day. They make me smile!

    Good for you! They are adorable. Reminds me of decades ago when I was a girl. There was a house not far from us that someone turned into a doll museum. It wasn't open to the public, just a house that someone owned and filled with dolls. You had to knock at the door and hope that someone was in. Thousands and thousands of dolls. I have to admit, in some ways it was kind of creepy ... all those eyes on you! But fun. I wonder if it's still there.
