GaiTender..great avatar! Brat..I collect a lot of things...some sort of pricy but some that are really just a lot of fun...most fun now is my square jar collection...They are super in my pantry and I am obsessed with them! My first collection was started by my DGM that basically raised me..tiny porcelian boxes and that is about completed now..I haven't added one in a long time but I still love to hold them and play with them. I don't have a turkey..oh no, lets don't get started on those..if I see one I will send it to you. I do collect wooden spools for I don't know what but I have them if I ever need them. BertieD...I simply love your sense of humor...I love reading your threads and your doll collection is fun to see. I would offer one suggestion in regard to your husband though...take away his garden tools. I would have a stroke if someone dug up one of my Irises...they are really getting ready to bloom..the mini ones are about gone but the bigger ones are just starting...I can see some color but none are open yet.

Hooray! My lovely DQ arrived from Ms Grace and is fantastic! I already took a photo of it and will attempt to upload it-(I am getting private instructions from our Bertie, who has high hopes for me even when MY own children have threw up their hands) but in the mean time let me describe it- it is a "crazy" quilt SEWING MACHINE that is embroidered with wonderful colors! Very cleverly done and quilted from border to border! Thank you! Ms Grace!

My newest obsession is Petosky stones. I just love to walk the beach in search of them. My bathroom sink is lined with them right now! I am trying to get DH to make me something to tumble them in. Add that to my sewing machines, fabric, clothes, shoes, scarves.......................... I am not a hoarder. I am not a hoarder. I am not a hoarder.

Thank you, Thank you Nancy. I got my beautiful crazy quilt yesterday and I love it. I'll get the photo of it on soon. Yesterday was a funeral (my aunt, she was just a few days short of being 96 years old) and tomorrow a wedding (my nephew). As much as I hate to go to funerals I love to see my extended family and it seems this is the only way.

Yay! Here is my quilt I received from PaperPieceMe. I just love it! She did some machine stitching, some hand embroidery, cute buttons, and of course the Russian nesting doll.

Ok well I'm halfway there-those are the fat quarters she sent me too. Now, how to make photo smaller? I want it just like Bilben's.
