Oh Bertie, how did you ever find so many bug fabrics? You must have been searching for years. Love it so much, I think my grandkids would like one of those.

Ohhh, Kitsy, it doesn't take that long to find bug/critter fabrics -- bugs are everywhere, lol! Actually I do have a lot of bug/critter fabrics but I have to fess up -- I bought these blocks from a woman on the Internet hoping to get different fabrics than what I had already. Thank you all for the nice comments. I am going to send this one to OK victim soon as it comes back from quilter and I get it bound.

Doll bed measures 7.5" wide by 14" long. Forgot to tell you when I gave number of spools needed and other how-to's.

One of my friends made a "jar" quilt for her kitchen putting different food items inside jars. Another quilter friend was so inspired by my first "jar" quilt that she went out and spent $100 for fabric to make one! She had "jars" of all different sizes on her quilt. Small jelly jars, wine bottles, large jars of canned goods, etc. and it was published in an Illinois magazine. This was a few years ago. It was an awesome quilt! They are fun to make. Sometimes I make the jars to fit whatever I'm putting 'inside.' And if I run out of lids, I turn the jar upside down on the shelf, haha.

A lady in my quilt group made a jar quilt and the bottom row was "Cookbooks"...she labeled them with all sorts of names..."Blue Book of Canning", Jellies, etc. Those are really adorable...Bertie, share your barn quilt with everyone...it is really awesome!!!!

Luvs2quilt wanted me to show you my barn quilt top. Its still dreaming of becoming a real quilt. Have a few things to finish it up before quilting it. It's called "Barn Meadow Sampler Bear Paw Snail Trail" and I bought the pattern on Ebay. I just used fabrics I had on hand so I punted for coloration shown on pattern.

Bertie, I was just going to post how much I love your bug jar quilt and then the barn quilt! Wow! I just love it. You should post it in the main section of the board so everyone can see it. So many little pieces! Yikes!
