I love your DQ Eagle, it is so darn cute! RWQ, where did you get your turkey pattern. I looked yesterday on line but realized I was looking for Embroidered one and should have been looking for an Appliqued one!

here is a sneak peek at my DQ, the top is done now to decided how to quilt!

Sorry it is a little blurry, I think because I took such a close up and my poor camera has seen better days! It is almost 7 years old and in the electronic age that is old! I use it a lot so I told Hubby Santa needs to bring me a new one!

IM BACK!! Miss me? I am hoping with luck lots of luck I can sew a bit today. you guys make me laugh, Quiltingkrazy you can jolly well keep your joy of your snow to yourself. It snowed last night. It was supposed to wait til later today after I got back from dialysis. I can not go to dialysis today because my ride can not drive in the snow, or should I say will not. She said to reschedule it for Monday so I will. friggen A. So snow love it just not when I have to go somewhere. Ok turkeys have you guys really looked closely at turkeys? I feed them every single day and love them. That said they are one ugly ugly faced bird. They also run like something out of Jurrasic park and will attack your car, surely attack your dog or cat and win. Lovely birds. I think they are so much prettier on fabric. Mine are brown. their heads are white. They only turn red when they are angry or defensive territiory wise. IE when another male wants to show his stuff then the feathers go out and their heads go red. That is your turkey lesson of the day. My quilt top will hopefully get a sash today its coming Quiltingkrazy its coming. my left arm is totally out of commission for now. One armed quilting! I like it. (no choice)

Elisabrat, you're a hoot! or maybe I should say a "gooble" since you got turkeys and not owls! Well I got chickens!
Yea 11 egg laying "girls" as my DH calls them. I'm know as the "Egg Lady" at work since I take eggs for them to have and enjoy. I need to work on my DQ's this weekend, got them started just need to start finishing! In other words got to get my behind in gear! BUT first.... gotta run errands this morning to Kohls and Joann's, well maybe I should say shopping not errands! OH sorry about the snow comment, I really should be more senitive to those who have to deal with it on a daily basis, so saying that....it's a warm SUNNY 60' right now. (so much so sensitivity! hehe)
