Here is the quilt that Handi made. My friend Lily, now 10, helped with the quilt that I sent to Handi, so I asked Handi to make a quilt to send to Lily. We visited Lily and her family yesterday so I was able to take this photo of the quilt, which is being put to use with the dolls. Handi chose perfect colours for their front room, and used lovely soft wadding means the quilt wraps up snugly around the dolls.

Thank you Handi! You made the perfect quilt to send to Lily.

How cute! Well that answers a question I've had -- do any of you actually use doll quilts for dolls?

    Hello Krystyna!!

I only saw the pictures of you and your big quilt yesterday. I was just so thrilled to see you looking so happy and excited under it!

Isn't the quilt Handi made sweet! What makes it extra special is that she chose a straightforward design so she could start her granddaughters off using the sewing machine. Idea for a theme - make a quilt with and/or for a child - then the quilts really will end up with dolls.

Thanks for finding it. I am swamped for the next couple of days. Meeting with new lawyer tomorrow and hoping to get rid of the idiot who is now "representing" me. Then in the afternoon, must meet with SBA inspector at the house and to review what else is needed. So for now, I am in paperwork purgatory ... see you again when I come up for air!

Sorry Nancia, nowhere near London. We're about 130 miles from there.
