It is so dreary out today. Almost like we went from summer straight into November. While I just love living by the sea, I must say I miss trees! Especially in spring and autumn. But that said, without the temptation of playing in my garden, fishing or even cleaning my house too very much (and it sure needs it!) I have been happily snipping and piecing my quilt for this month.

Now, down to some onery business. Since I wrecklessly paired Sewbeadit with herself, and since Ms Grace wanted in at the last moment, I put them together ... but it seems that Ms Grace (a) has gone missing and (b) has a full mailbox! So ... anyone want an extra partner?

For once I didn't go to the mailbox!! If only Christopher would have known he was gonna mess up our DQ deliveries!!
My doll quilt is ready to quilt and then send. I used a pattern this month, too. From an old magazine I was looking at.
I got a cold yesterday and my throat is scratchy~it drives me nuts when I go to bed, so I'm delaying hitting my pillow!

I want to do thanksgiving TURKEYS myself lol because i think I would suck at a cornucopia applique and I dont want to suck. A last hurrah to fall? Pilgrims or Indians? what Thanksgiving means to you? (maybe too deep).. a doll quilt meant to be just that a doll quilt that can be given to a child at christmas maybe with her own doll? donated because we are all so fortunate enough to be able to do this for each other when so many have so little? just a thought..
    Elisabrat,
I go to Australia twice a year. My daughter and Hubby pay for me to come. I have three grandchildren there, ages 2, 5 and 8. We facetime all the time on our iphones. I am thinking of buying my daughter a Bernette....the little bernina machine. But it has to be bought in Australia. Our wiring is different and you have to have a special plug and that is not the real problem but using those drains your machine and whacks it out. So better to get an Australian machine.
