That's amazing! Glad you loved your visit! As well as loving quiltng I'm a Munro bagger (mountains in scotland over 3000ft) There are 282 of them all around Scotland and the islands, I'm up to 77 and getting to REALLY see this beautiful country in all of it's glory.
Thank you for making me feel so welcome and can't wait to find out more about you and the rest of our lovely group!

Mona, I really want to join but will need to let you know for sure on Monday. I am getting a 2nd opinion on my thumb/wrist and as long as he doesn't say I need surgery, I would love to be part of the new group if there is still room. I am fine with international as well. I'll keep you updated.
I've had 2 cortisone injections in different places and neither has helped at all. The first doctor said there isn't really anything else we can do. It isn't that I want to have surgery, but I would like to see if the second doctor has any other ideas. I figure if I have to live with the pain I might as well have fun sewing and the last Round Robin was a bright spot for me in my sewing room.

Sounds good, hope you get good news.

Mona, It's GORGEOUS!!!
My DH has asked for a Barn pictorial quilt centre... (he's american)
So I've had to get my sketch book out and all my scraps to see what I could come up with... No pressure ladies!! 🤣
Not sure how it's going to look, we'll see...

Mona that looks great! I have always wanted to make that block but no matter how many times I've tried I can't get the curved seams to lay flat.
I have a block picked out (thinking positive that I can participate!)...it is called Entwined Star. It is only 12" so I'll either do the math to make it 18" or add borders...it will be done in shades of red w/black. My plan is to use it as a quilt for my daughter.

Jacquie, that is turning out great! I was hired to make a wall hanging using some fabric the lady had gotten. I used the "hole in the barn door" block. I am in Iowa which is a big farming state so sure I'll be able to find some fabrics that will work well.
