Let's talk colors! Maybe that will bring people in. I have two ideas, either blue and white or, get this, my friend who is getting married says she wants orange, red and turquoise! Wouldn't that be fantastic!!!

Blue and white are good. Turquoise with orange and red would be.....different.

What other color combinations are people thinking? Which one of the blocks would you suggest for a newbie to these?

The one I did last time was pretty easy, just a bunch of half square triangles. It was from week 21 of the sampler - Jemima. My partner's colors were black, caramel, butterscotch and beige. I liked how it turned out.

My colors are teal, lime and purple. My partner did a gorgeous one for me. It was Claudia - I think from week 16 of the sampler. Don't know how hard it was to do but it certainly is pretty!

True! Those colors aren't for everyone - but I thought I'd put it out there in case I get an extra-adventurous swap partner. I really would love either myself.
