You did an excellent job! Your quarter cirles match up so well! That is the hardest part about this Block I think.
I love love love the fabrics you chose. It does justice to the Quilt Block indeed!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments - I was very happy with the results. Bonni - I knew this block was screaming your name. I'm not normally a circle person, but I had to use it for you.
Rhonda - I used your tip to tack/glue the matching points and it worked wonders. Only had to take out 2 spots that weren't quite lined up.
If you look back on the preview - I did adjust a few of the colors after coming across the perfect match at the LQS.
I rarely find three perfectly matching prints to use in the same projects but this one worked out well.

glad you got it ok and you like it Shelley! I had a terrible time with it. I couldn't find one of my templates so I used an old 2 1/2" store bought template. Then I found the new one but had already done several with the old one and figured I better use the same all the way through. To account for the fact that the old one was about a 1/8" off due to wearing down I used a scant 1/4" all the way through.BUT discovered the whole block was going to be 5/8"-3/4" too wide!! If it was something I was doing for myself I wouldn't worry about it. I would just adjust my project. but since it needs to match the rest of your 12 1/2" quilt blocks I had to do some finagling to get it smaller.!!
The corners don't meet right in places but I got to the point of oh well!! That is one of the reasons I forgot to take a pic. I had that dumb measurments and how to fix it going through my head and that was all I was thinking about!
But I guess it came out ok.

Thank you SUZI and DEE! What a wonderful day at the post office. I received both of your blocks today. I won't post a picture since both of you have already. The blocks are as cute in person as they were in the pictures.
Thank you ladies!
