I received my ornament from Nelco yesterday. I love the little embroidered Santa. (I collect Santas too which she didn't know) So pleased with what she created. Let the Holidays begin!

ornament mailed--secret santa swap package ready to be mailed.. dang i am tired.
Finishing up a quilt for BFF along with some embroidered pillowcases( 5 pair to be exact and only one and a half pair done so far)
the quilt is made of butterfly fabric and each pillowcase set is a different butterfly design.
also doing a set of pillowcases for a friend who likes turtles. Neighbor said he would make me as many Rosette cookies that i wanted if I made him a quilt--claims likes bright colors and fish--it is cut out waiting to be sewn and layered to get on frame as soo
n as butterfly one is done which if I keep at it should be done by middle of next week hopefully
dont you love it when you set yourself up with impossible deadlines? So far I have always met them

Yikes, I just checked page one and discovered the mailing date is.........tomorrow! The date I had in my head was immediately after Thanksgiving! Too many events happening in too short of a time and the dates got tangled up. Guess some of my other tasks will have to be set aside while I finish my ornament. I am busy diving into to a new skill but will press on to be finished on time. Cut, snip, press and repeat!

Whoosh! 95% done with my ornament. Multiple trips to multiple shops to get the last little bits and bob's. Time for some sustenance then finish the next to last step, Prep package and off to PO tomorrow by noon. Why did I try a new craft for this swap....because I bought it for last year's swap and never opened the package. Tee-Hee-Hee! Great day in the morning, I fear I may become addicted. My package arrived today, but until mine is in the mail, I am practicing patience and resisting temptation to peek in my package. Anticipation makes any surprise even better. Picture tomorrow!
