One ornament complete but just ordered the stuff to make another. It will be here tonight. (Love Amazon). They will be in the mail on Friday morning!

I second the Amazon praise, hav4boys.
I have been having so much struggle to get this dang carpeting for three quarters of the house in. It feels like moving to me, with all the boxes and furniture moving. They called an hour after they were supposed to be here and said not til tomorrow. WHAT??!! OMG, no bed set up, no wifi or tv. We had to put it back in for the night. Can't leave that off, right?
It reminds me of the cartoon saying I heard once, I once, "Why I aughtta". What a weird feeling, to say the least. I am going to take a nap. Got up at four o clock. Z Z Z Sleepy.

I received my package this afternoon! I’ll wait until the 26th, but I’m way excited to open.

My package gone out says delivery by Friday evening. All is well. My hubby picked up some more lights for the tree. I can't get enough lights. The only thing for my tree I can't find anymore is the strands of icicles to hang on my tree. I guess people don't want the mess of them, but it brings back when my mother use to hang them one by one on our big full tree when I was growing up.

Ah, Christmas movies like "Christmas in Connecticut"," It's a Wonderful Life" and "Holiday Inn" had trees with the silver icicles. Fun to see. I have some glass ones that I hang, but it isn't the same. I used to find them under couches and behind curtains during the rest of the year, so I gave them up
Still waiting for those dang carpet guys. They should be here sometime before ten, or so they say... I am punch drunk. Like they say, "It is what it is".

Oh, I haven't seen icicles in years! Maybe you can find them online? When we were kids, Dad would put the electric lights on the tree first, the kind like little light bulbs. Then we kids got to hang all the ornaments. Last of all came the icicles and ONLY Dad was allowed to put them on. We kids didn't have the patience to hang them one by one and would instead throw bunches of them on the tree. Not good enough for Dad! He became the sole Icicle-er of the tree. It did look beautiful, but as an adult I still do not have the patience to hang icicles one by one.

Came home from errands -- it's busy and hectic out there! -- to find a package in my mailbox. I'm itching to open it but promise to be good and wait.
