I would love to see pictures ... anyway you all could share the photos or are you all not doing that until folks receive their blocks?

I am using "freeware" to design my own blocks for this swap, so I could potentially put in my designs. I just don't know if I will have the time to draw them out for someone else (so many projects ... so little time!)

CraftsbyRobin, I am fixing to prepare to get ready to start on my first Snowoman block. Since it is an original design, it only exists in my mind. Hopefully the juices will flow and I'll finish the appliqued Snowoman today and post a photo tonight (Monday 04/19). I'd cross my fingers, but it's difficult to sew with crossed fingers. :-P Belles

CraftsbyRobin, I finished one block for the Snowman or woman or children or family swap. For two years I was BOM for my guild and one year I had calendar blocks for the year. This Snowoman was for January. However, the guild blocks were 10-inches finished. Since our swap is for 12-inches finished, I had to figure a way to introduce another 2 inches, plus seam allowance. I came up with an attic window setting. She is Snowy Quilter, rushing to turn in her last block for the swap. I see her through my sewing room window. I hope my block gives you some ideas. Belles

    Belles:
That block is very cute. I think this will be a fun swap. Can't wait for all the blocks to start coming in.
