This has been a fun creative challenge! Rose Hall, I know what you mean about it being too bad these blocks don't make it seem cooler, but I found a way myself: We have been keeping the AC around 68 degrees, so as I'm sewing (and the vent with the cool air is right next to my sewing table) I get goosebumps!

Whatever it takes to keep me cool!

My husband would LOVE 68', but the babies and I would freeze! plus the elec. bill would be sky high! We keep ours set about 78'--with me on unpaid maternity leave, we have to cut back somewhere.

I wish I had the snowpeople blocks around my booth at a craftshow this weekend. It was 105 with heat index 113 nothing cooled us off in TN. Moosegirl

The blocks are coming in everyday and they are super. This is going to be a fun quilt to make. I think I am going to combine mine with the Santa swap and the new Winter Block swap that was just started. Happy quilting and stay cool. It is very hot and humid here also. We are expecting severe storms on Tuesday. I really am sick of those. When you are farming you sit on pins and needles every time it storms. I sure have been praying a lot lately to keep all crops safe.

It looks like alot of the backgrounds are blue so I hope to combine mine with the red, white & blue swap blocks. Moosegirl
