Thank you everyone for your kind comments about my fabric. I decided it's time to break out those special fabrics I have not wanted to cut. Here's my prototype for the first set. On my third block. Having a ball. I love every block I've seen so far!

I have been at the International Quilt Festival in Houston all last week enjoying looking at the most beautiful quilts! Wow, it was an amazing adventure and motivating. I never walked so much in my life, I walked about 11,000-15,000 steps a day. These feet hurt! Now, that I have that adventure behind me I can focus on getting some fabrics pulled for these wonderful blocks.

I love seeing all the fabrics and blocks so far so far they are gorgeous!!!

Here is my first set. The color is a little wonky, they all have the same WOW.. the dark blue block is an extra. I hope it isnt too dark! It is floral.. If it deemed too dark, I will gladly keep it! It is my favorite, so far!
This week I will cut out the next set and hopefully sew it up next weekend. Slow and steady wins the race!!
Bluelady, I love the dark Blue, you may have to make more of them. All the blocks are very pretty, my favorite color is Blue.

Just verifying here.. if I do 4 sets, 20 total, only one set (or five blocks all told), can have the same floral, correct?
Or they can ALL be different.
That is no more than 5 blocks the same fabric. If i do four sets, I need a minimum of four fabrics?
I don't think it will be a problem, LOL.. given all the fabrics I have! But i want to double check!
Bluelady, you can mix the colors up in a set or it can be all the same color. Example: you could do 2 pink and 2 blue for one set or you could do 4 Pink or 4 blue. the extra block can be a different color or the same color of a set. I hope this is not confusing. As long as you have 4 blocks per set you will be fine.
