Oh my goodness! These blocks so far are gorgeous! I am so blessed to be part of this swap and with a group of such talented ladies.

Armylady-You are doing an amazing job with this swap and I commend your patience. I could not keep this all together and running as smooth as you do. So, thank you!

Here is the fabrics I chose to work with.

And, here are the blocks that I have made.

I will probably mail those out to you tomorrow Armylady. But, I will make sure to confirm that with you.

Getting ready to cut a new set. Since I am mathematically challenged just wanted to double check: should we cut the squares and strips at 5 inches instead of 4 7/8ths? If you’ve done that does it makes significant difference in the “wiggle” room as far as the points and 1/4 leftover is concerned? Thanks!

Yes 5” will give you more wiggle room. I actually cut mine 5 1/8 for more wiggle room

Just be sure to trim them down to the correct size. I use a special trimming ruler, but you can use a regular ruler to trim. them. And make sure the points when you trim are right at the corner.
