Spring churn dash 12.5 block swap
#772
A heaping bunch of thanks for givio. What a great idea to use that fabric for the sashing. It tied it all together. It's a favorite pattern, on point with sashing and then more borders. I've been using black.
I need to see all my blocks to choose the correct fabric. Oh Mr. Mailman, please bring me my blocks.......singing...don't know if you can hear it or not.

I think I am using a green leafy or vines printed fabric for sashing between my blocks, to tie in the flowers/ spring theme. I would love to find some raindrop themed fabric. April showers bring May flowers

Thanks, Battle Axe, yes, I might have heard that singing. :-) Your post touched me, anyway! I used bits and pieces of mismatched WOW for my blocks. I didn't have enough WOW to join the swap. Then for a 2018 BOM I was gifted a yard of it! Isn't that how it goes!

If it wasn’t for some individuals having to purchase the pattern, the Lucky Stars by Atkinson is a great beginner pattern. It was used in a quilt class I attended a few years ago. The points don’t touch the edge of the block and the borders allow for a great deal of variety in fabric including fat quarters. This information may be useful for future quilt projects.

Yep, I'm getting pretty excited to see them myself! Poor Maxie is working her rear off right about now. But, just think about all the beautiful blocks she's getting to play with! That's one of the perks of being our hostess.
