    Default Spring block exchange

Hi Mariposa. I'm new to the board and would like to participate in this exchange with 2 sets. Just to be sure, if I want to make a block larger than 3.5", should it be 6.5? Do many people do that, or are most 3.5? I just think it would be more interesting to do a bit larger block. I've read all the rules, but the consequences of goofing sound pretty drastic. Hope all will go well.

Sweet! are they 3.5"? I was thinking of going the next size up as that seems a bit small, but these are very detailed.
Thought I was putting a reply on the tulip block post. Still getting used to the way this board works. It's different from some others I've been on. Trying to figure out if I can switch the sort, so that newest post comes up at the top. Is that possible?

I'm not Mariposa, but it you go the the first page, she outlines the block sizes...they are to be done in 3 1/2" increment sizes...for instance, could be 3 1/2" blocks, but those are limited, could be 3 1/2" x 6 1/2", 6 1/2" square, 6 1/2" x9 1/2", etc. I like to make a variety of sizes, but that's just me.

    Thanks Mariposa!

    OK, what's a "boom"?

Also, so if I sign up, I can make any size block as long as I make it in sets of 6? Can I use my embroidery machine?

sewjoyce--you can make any size block you want, as long as it is in increments of 3".
