During our 3 yrs in Saudi Arabia, once during a 3 day heat wave it was 142, UGH. The windows & sliding glass door had so much condensation from the interior air conditioning it looked like rain out there.

Found my 15 fabrics and have them all packaged and ready to send. If you ladies would not mind my neighbor would love to swap again. She wants to make sure it's okay since she doesn't have a computer and she doesn't have the money to buy one and get internet. If you would rather not, that's okay, just let Red know and we will go from there. Not a problem either way

I'm okay with her swapping. Wouldn't want her to be left out just because she doesn't have a computer. (There are times I hate the dumb things, but I AM using one to participate....)

I say YES also! I received one of her pink sets this time around and they are lovely.

Sometimes it could be that you wouldn't have to own a computer and buy internet service to join Quilting Board. Usually a public library offers free time online on their computers. Or you can go to an internet cafe. I've also heard of people who can use a public school's internet service. Of course, not everyone can get out of the home easily, and not every city and town has a library.

I suppose in the end, it's up to the Quilting Board rules and/or PatriceJ-- but it's fine with me if the neighbor wants to join again. I like to welcome people.

I'm fine with letting the neighbor play! If something as simple as this gives her joy, why not?

I'm ok with your neighbor playing in the swap if it is ok with the board (ask one of the modertors). Jane Quilter

Jaba: your friend did just fine in the last swap. I have no problem with her joining again. I know you mentioned she was a little older, so I love the fact she's still sewing and joining in the "community".

I also received packages already! Jane Quilter and Faintly Artistic....your bags are gracing my kitchen table. I promised myself when I started these swaps I wouldn't open the bags until all have been received. Ugh. What was I thinking. The suspense is killing me! LOL
