Default Finally Finished my top with the "Ugly Fabric"

Well, I got the flower print that you see in the picture. I was able to figure out who sent that one in...and I was able to get the rest that she had in her stash!!!

I like that fabric, your top is very nice! I am in on the idea for an ugly jelly roll swap. My thinking is the only way it would really be ugly thou would be bad color combos. Any fabric in my opinion can be transformed with the right matching fabric and a good imagination!

Today I am working on another UFP, should be done and marked off my list! I love getting that list shortened!

Well I finally got a weekend at home and a chance to do my top with the (definitely not) ugly fabric I received. Was able to do it all from my stash. Yea! The orange is a bit intense, but I like it anyway. Had exactly enough fabric to do this 33 X 44 inch top with hardly any scraps left over.

Well on my phone that picture is a little out of perspective! Anyway it is 5-1/2" square rail fence blocks. If I could find more of the stripe I would add a border of it and then bind in the black to give the final touch. Will most likely leave it with just the black binding.

What a great use of that fabric mom-6. I still have to sew the borders onto the top I'm working on. It's twin size. So, pictures soon hopefully.

Hello Ladies, I love all of your projects that you have made with the uglies. I unfortunately have been unable to use mine yet but I will. I got the pink fabric with yellow flowers on them. Should be interesting when I get to it.

    Mom-6,
I love what you have done with your "ugly" fabric. I think your little quilt is very nice.
