Im not understanding exactly what a Siggie block is or what the result of this swap? The block link on quilters cache... looks interesting but Im not understanding. Are there any pictures of past Siggie swaps results that you could post so I have a visual to help understand??

You get blocks signed from members here to make into your own personal quilt Here is one from 2 years ago - it was a much larger swap and a different block - scroll down a bit to see the pic

and we have had a pic posted here or when you are in Quilters Cache you can see finished quilts with our block - but ours has the white in the middle and will be signed with names and states

Ok I have to wait for my daughter to wake up so I will walk over to the post office and mail my siggy's to you. They are all done and signed. Then I will work on my June DQ and my BOM Calendar. This has been so much fun.

Jenniky please join us. If you look at the pattern you can get an idea on how it will look.

The quilt on the next to last page is a wonderful layout for these. It does look nice with the signed blocks. Glad I am participating. I just have to get sewing. Brought in my old Singer I received from my grandmothers on her passing years ago. But, I think the foot pedal is bad so not easy to use but has a wonderful stitch. I finally figured out and tweaked that part and is good. But, now to get the foot pedal working. Any suggestions? It runs real hot after 1/2 hours use. then the machine slows way down.

I cut out my 64 white 4.5 squares, two questions? Color of Pen.. Black or Blue or doesnt matter? Also is it better to write on them before sewing corners on or after?? Thanks Ladies this will be a perfect wall quilt for my sewing area.

Any ink color is fine - one time I even used red, orange and purple to match the fabrics And I did mine after they were sewn together to make sure I was signing in the correct area
