    Rwquilts,
Hope your PT isn't too awful. I know sometimes it's rough, but it's sure nice to get a good end result!

    Patchesnposies,
I can just picture you all dressed in "groovy mountain mama wear" maybe with some braided hair and wearing bead necklaces... out chopping wood and living off the land, so to speak.
I always say, This getting old ain't for sissies, but it beats the alternative...lol

Here's a couple more pics, the 2nd one shows some of the drifting:

I love seeing the elegant decorative pins, too.

It IS heavy...a wet, thick heavy snow..at least while shoveling it...lol.

And cold, too..but after you shovel a bit, it's not so cold anymore...
Man, when did I get so old, though??!!?? That's rhetorical, by the way...

QUESTION! How many of you would be interested in an Easter table runner swap? I was thinking of hosting and have signups by Feb 14 and mailing date of March 14 so that it would be received before Easter on April 5. If I have enough ladies interested then I will go ahead and post it at the end of the month after I get the ok from Patrice.

We had some table runner swaps last year, I don't really know why they stopped.. or I can't remember if I know why..lol

I loved doing them, and I'd "play" if you hostess one...

Are you tossing in a trip to Florida, too??
My Gram lived in Sarasota..on Bird Key Drive until my Gramps died, then she moved to a beautiful condo complex, Plymouth Harbor, it's right on the ocean. She was on the 21st floor.
She came to Texas in 1969, and again in 2006.
On the 06 visit, she was accompanied by the lady who coordinated all of her stuff.
We were going into town for dinner, and I remember some mosquitoes were flying close, being pesky. I was trying to "shoo" them from Gram, and make a joke about Texas Mosquitoes. I then said, "Well probably not much different than the mosquitoes you have in Florida.".
It was so funny as Gram replied, "I don't have mosquitoes, I'm on the 21st floor.".
She was such a sweet lady...but I'm sure it was kind of like "Green Acres" when she visited us...

    Yes to both..
We just finished clearing off our deck and ramp. I did some, hubby did a lil, I did a lil, hubby finished.
At our age and with our health stuff, we're a "tag team" on snow shoveling.

If we didn't have to go to town for his surgery tomorrow, I wouldn't have cleaned it...well, probably not as thoroughly...lol
