Thanks, Jan, and everyone who commented on my 2nd swap. My partner had written that she loved Mary Englebreit and so I order some ME Valentine's fabric. It was so cute that I just left it whole (instead of piecing) and added the rick rack. (Totally wimped out on the mitered corners and buttons cover a multitude of sins.) A little embellishment and it was easy peasy to the point I felt like it was TOO simple. I WILL conquer bindings.....some day!

Received my beautiful mug rug today from jean (ok sew n sew). She sent a very pretty heart potholder and a valentine candy bar, and a sewing room door hanger for quilters. VERY cute thank you so much!!!

Oksewnsew, I love the package you sent to Jan! I adore the fat hearts, they are my favorite! I can't make out what is on the handle of the door hanger with the thread and needles (is that applique?) can you tell us? You did a beautiful job!
