Default Wall Hanging Swap July to Oct 2023

Welcome to our Wall Hanging Swap!

You have 4 months to make a wall hanging of your choice.
This is an anything goes swap. There is no theme.

Size and Type of Wall Hanging:
Smaller than a lap quilt but larger than a mug rug.
Use any technique/ any style / any colors.
Embellishments are a fun way to add to your wall hanging if you like

There is No Sign Up list

There is no deadline to sign up.
There is no commitment beyond having a Wall Hanging ready to mail by the end of Oct
So if you find you can't join in after all just save your WH til the next swap.
You can join in any time until the last day of Oct

You only need to have a WH ready to mail by the last day of the swap
The only list that counts is the Ready to Mail list at the end
    of the 4 month swap.
You must be on the Ready to Mail list to receive an address to mail to

    Ready to Mail list
Ready to Mail list will be posted the middle of Oct 2023.
If you are not on this list you will not get an address to send to.
Deadline - Midnight central time last day of Oct 2023

    Real name
    your address
Can you send international or not

    Addresses Sent Out:
Addresses will be sent to each swapper at midnight on the last day of Oct 2023

You will then send your wall hanging to the quilter who's address you get.
You will receive from a different quilter than the one you send to.
This is not a partner swap.

    Important!!
Please send me a pm when you mail and when you receive!!
Only those who send me a pm to let me know they are ready to mail will be on the mailing list.

OK I really hope to join on this one. Some major changes in my life coming up that will free up a lot of time. I almost wonder if I should start a new wall hanging and this one with a Christmas theme.

Hope to make this again. Right now I knee deep in Christmas presents and hope to finish all by August. I least that is what I tell myself, LOL. Annaquilts, I was thinking the same thing, as we don't swap in December. Thought it would be nice to give someone a decoration for the holidays.

I’m in! And Anna, A Christmas wall hanging sounds good to me too. I’ll be working on it while I watch Christmas movies in July on my favorite Hallmark channel. What better way to get in the mood 🧑🏻‍🎄

So I am an airhead. I put a long post on the thread from the last swap. Here it is-

I am hoping to start a Christmas themed one but atleast finish the one that is almost done so I can participate. Yes, 4 months is a long time but life happens, medical issues and appointments, kids needing help, work, traveling and in person friends. I want to make something nice, not just put together. It seems, I take too much time on deciding what to make or do that last push and put binding, label and a sleeve on. So there are all these partial projects. Anyone else do that?
