I hear ya' ube, I'm the same way. At least in the fall I have Florida sunshine to look forward to. About the only time I miss Wyoming in the winter is at Christmas time. Snow Christmas Eve ...maybe Christmas Day and then it can be gone. Only thing is it just doesn't happen that way

Western Australia has snow, rarely do we get any that cars have been blocking up the road to the Sterling Rangers. People have traveled from far away Perth about 500km to see it Many people are having their Chritmas in july partys now

I plan on joining this time around. I have an idea in mind for a fall-themed WH.

R-sea. This swap doesn't have any themes. You make what you like. Choose anything you can thing of that you might like to try. There is really only one basic rule, larger than a mug rug and smaller than a lap quilt. other than that, anything goes.

Thanks Ube, Maybe if I do one with spring it might bring warmth into your home. At this stage I have no idea what I will do

There is plenty of time to decide and pick and choose and do. I usually change my mind several times before I settle on something.

Thinking about the Christmas wreath twister pattern which would be fun to make or maybe a turkey theme in time for Thanksgiving.....who knows? I will have to give it some thought.

I rarely use holidays or seasons as starting points for the quilts I make. I can remember three in three years. I just see something I like and go with it.

I do like those twister wreathes. Fun to make.
