R-Sea - I love the colours in your WH. I just can't imagine sewing all those tiny pieces!

I found a wall hanging in Connecting Threads catalog I like. It is pumpkins made from log cabin blocks. I'm thinking of maybe making it. I won't use their fabrics as I have plenty of the right colour, but I think I can order the pattern separately from the kit.

Yep -- the pattern is available separately from the kit. I just might get it. http://www.connectingthreads.com/pat...__D12410D.html

Hi everyone. My dear husband is helping me out. He does have his own account on the board due to being in the Annual Christmas Swap. He even has his own sewing machine. He loves going with me when I go to fabric shops. I am on a different computer, and don't have the same picture program as before so he is my picture guy.

I did not end up going with the extra 2 fabrics, because my real vision is with just these fabrics and then a couple of buttons I have in mind and a certain binding. This wall hanging was from a pattern I found on the Internet, and they called it "Christmas Tree Farm", but mine will have alterations from theirs so I'm calling this one " Holiday Tree Farm". It's a modern version.

Belfrybat, I looked at the pattern you spoke of, and it's pretty done that way with all those pumpkins. I have a few for fall, but not one just like that.

kwyltaholic that is a sweet scare crow in the middle. You are really working fast like a few others.

Wow, Everyone is really busy. I haven't even found a pattern yet but I am looking.

A pretty fall theme from Linda ready to quilt and some very pretty fabrics Susan, the pattern sounds interesting, anxious to see it come together.

It is such a smart idea to get started early. You can relax and enjoy the journey.

My fabrics do look a bit brighter than they are, but are true to the designs in them. I think they were taken with light on them, because you can see that bit of glow below on the table. The fabrics are pretty, but they don't glow.
