I signed up for 2 sets of embroidered blocks. The embroidery has been done for a long time but they are not 12 1/2 inches. I planned to add borders to make them the required size but...my macular degeneration (wet) has gone haywire: therefore, there are no straight lines in my life. I have tried adding the borders but it is not the quality I would want to receive in a swap and I'm sure you will want to 'unsew". The embroidery scenes are beautiful toile winter scenes (if I do say so myself) and measure 8 1/2 or 9 1/2 inches. Here are my thoughts. I can send the cut border strips with the blocks so you can add them or I can just withddraw from the swap. I am a stickler for following the rules so if it is decided that I should withdraw it won't hurt my feelings...next time I'll make sure my fabric is large enough so no borders are needed.
I have been trying to muster the courage to write this for a long time and will be relieved when it is finally sent. Mary Ellen

Not a big deal for me, I can add my own borders as well.
