If one was to do embroidery, does she/he add sashing or if the block is 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 the recipient will add it. Would like to join but not sure of the finished product...can someone direct me to an embroidery block that has been swapped?

I received beautiful embroidered blocks from Janet Wall without any sashing, and some with sashing from Jetnica. I think either style is ok.

    Hi mary,
Check out the red white and blue swap that carsey hosted. There are a couple in there.

Hi everyone! I finished my candle in a pewter holder this afternoon. They turned out ok, I think. I kind of overpressed a couple of them a little. Oh well ... I hope you like them anyway everyone.

The "table" that they sit on is a cool moda leaf and berry print.

Sorry the picture isn't the best
