I finished the set of tree blocks, as well as a set of penguins, and the first present block. Now that I have some sizing figured out for the present, I'll try to complete that project in a week or so. Next week is vacation time!

Not sure the penguins are good enough for the swap, so I'll see if I can make a different set. Unless other posters approve! I'd just hate to send something no one would want-- it just didn't quite turn out like it was in my head.

Is this too much gold for everyone?

Linda the poinsettia is very pretty, personally I don't think it is too much gold.

Ladies I have my patterns picked out and am working on getting the fabric. As soon as I finish my Wall hanging and table runner I will start on sewing the blocks and posting pictures. I am loving all that I have seen so far, come on ladies share pictures. I believe we have a very good start on having a beautiful winter themed quilt.

I've been cleaning my studio after finding a monster spider in it! Any spider outside is welcome to it but you come into my domain and prepare to die!

I've been playing with ideas for a layout for my fall quilt (which I will post on the fall block swap page when I complete it) so I haven't had much time for my Winter themes. I have three sets in the works so I will post when I can.

    Keep posting ladies!~

GracefulAnn that is fine I am not trying to rush anyone I haven't started cutting and sewing myself. I hate spiders too and even more disgusted with ants it seems every time in rains hard they want to come inside my house, constantly having to kill them and spray.
