Hello! I'm back from my August adventures! What a treat to pop on to the board and see all these gorgeous blocks! Ya'll have been busy! I finished a set of stars while I was at Mom's, so I'm all ready to go now. Armylady...I'm going to send you a PM to make sure I have the 'process' all correct.

I'm waiting on some fabric to complete one more set. Depending on how the weekend goes, I may be able to add another. I figure if I contribute more, I'll get more back, and will be able to put a "couch quilt" together I pretty much always have some kind of blanket or quilt on top of me when I'm lounging around, even in summer (central air is a good thing!)

I also have a quilt on me year round while sitting on the couch. Air condition is great, but gets a little cold in some rooms. I like to have quilts for each season/holiday to enjoy. This quilt will most likely become a couch quilt for me too. Looking forward to a new winter quilt.

I got the fabric I was waiting for today! So, with a quiet weekend, I'll be able to work on the present blocks with the new fabric, and maybe whip up a last set of something else. They'll be red and gold... I usually prefer silver, but haven't found a silver fabric yet.

Keep the photos coming, I love seeing everyone else's blocks and can't wait to see which ones I'll receive!

Good evening everyone~ It's been awhile since I've checked in and I've missed seeing all your posts. I started my new job and when I come home, I'm too exhausted to climb the stairs to my sewing room. I made it up the stairs yesterday for a few minutes and oiled my machine and changed my needles so I can stitch away this weekend. I hope everyone is safe and sound. I'm praying for Texas and everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey. God Bless.

Hello Ladies well I got pounded with rain and we are on a Tornado Watch until 8 PM and on flash flood watch until 11 Pm today. Just wanted to give another friendly reminder that the signup for the swap will be closing at 12 PM on Saturday 2 September 2017. We are currently up to 20 participates (welcome (terriamn) so far so it looks like we are going to have plenty of blocks for me to swap out.

Made another icy star - and actually made it to size (12.5")...here's a pic along with the first attempt.
Didn't want to make 3 more yet, tired of this pattern, so taking a break and making another block pattern.
