Leaving shortly for my retreat and only bringing fabric for this swap. Hope to have them all finished with 3 straight days of sewing. Blocks are all cut out and ready to go.

Is it kosher to copy other blocks? I won't --- but the thought did cross my mind --- first because Sleepy Hollow's 'present' block looked as if I could do it successfully --- then, because of the darned appeal of the ones posted. I won't do a snowglobe either - but am tempted.
& thanks for the well-wishes everyone for my eyes. I need them so.

I sure wouldn't be against changing them a little to make them look different and going for it. Maybe change the shape of the present (more rectangular than square). You could change the base of the snowglobe to make it look different too. A nice snowy tree or ????, just something other than snowmen. FatCat used to have some free patterns for snowglobes that I've used before. But.....just my opinion.
    What say you, Fearless Leader?

40 hours with no power..... We are ok , we boarded all our properties. home is OK... Lots of trees and debri everywhere around our Orlando home. Sons rental house the same. Sarasota house has tree limbs and debri in yard, there was no power outage . Orlando had continuous strong hurricane winds for 8-10 hours .
