Red, what a great idea. Was thinking of stringing 5 of them for a decorative valance in my kitchen - I have an empty curtain rod - I could make a holder too.
Since I've not been able to send in 20 blocks for these seasonal swaps, I am thinking of combining all my swap blocks into an 'all seasons' quilt...still pondering. (I'm keeping my 'not right' or experimental blocks to combine them all into a 'mistake' quilt hoping it gets no bigger than lap size.)

What a cute idea, K-roll! I hope if you do that you will come back and show pictures with us too. Believe me, if I had a mistakes quilt, it would be king sized. LOL! I tend to use them up of donate them to a thrift shop right away. Although, I have a little storage 4 drawer unit full of blocks I need to use up in some way.

I made it home, and a package was waiting for me! I'm exhausted, so I won't be able to go through them until tomorrow, but I can tell from the front of the bag that I got a cute one

Thanks, everyone, for all the great blocks I've seen posted! I can't wait to open my baggie and see what I got, but sleep is going to win tonight...

There is no place like home. Let us know what goodies you got Sleepy Hollow.

I am on my second swap blocks card holder. They are coming out great!

I did get two of the same block, but since I made an extra that was too complicated (for me) for the swap, I'll swap out the extra one and use it to make something else.

Thanks again, it's going to make a great "couch quilt" for curling up under as the weather gets cold.

Sleepy Hollow I am so sorry that I sent you two of the same block. I do hope you forgive me, I just hope I do a better job on the next swap.

I will finish the hand work on the first two card holders and take a pic today. You gals will be surprised how fun they are turning out.
