Default Winter Themed 12.5 Block Swap

    Winter themed 12.5 Block Swap
This is a Winter Themed Block Swap.

Think of what activities you may enjoy or participate in during the winter, think about ice skating, skiing, sledding, snowmen, mitten, stocking caps etc.Let your imagination wonder free.

Thesignups are open till September 2nd, 2017. (6 weeks)

The Deadline to have them to me (in my hands) is October 7th (5 weeks)

I will swap them and mail them back out to you no later than November 1st (4weeks and 3 days)

If I do not receive your blocks by the deadline date, I will have no choice butto swap the blocks received from the other swappers out without you.

Please make sure to read the Quilting board rules.
    QB General Swap Rules:
    http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...-a-t20154.html

The Swap is for sets of (4) Blocks. The limit is 5 sets per swapper. 20 Blocksmaximum.

NO Squares of fabric or DP9's will be counted as a block.

I will trade out all the blocks I receive. Don't forget to make a set foryourself.

Block size is 12 1/2" Sq.

The sets should be the same image/block. But, different fabrics can be used.

100 % cotton fabric must be used.

Any background Fabric can be used as long as it's appropriate for the theme.

Applique blocks must be sewn down!

Embroidery blocks whether hand sewn or machine sewn are fine also.

Mail your blocks to me in a priority flat rate envelope using stamps only onthe return envelope. (Metered mail expires.) Give your package time to get tome please. Make sure to address your return envelope back to yourself. Don'tforget to use the proper postage. (Thank you.) Pm me for my address when you’reready to Mail.

Place your finished sets in one Large baggie. Make sure your board name is oneach block.

Should anything come up and you need to withdraw from the swap, just let meknow. Life happens sometimes.

    ***NEW***

I have a request. I am requesting that each swapper enclose One extra block inthe swap theme. This block can be 6.5 or 9.5 or 12.5 inch square. This is ajust in case block. In case the mail messes up and things go awry. If I needthem, I will use them. I hate to disappoint anyone. If I don't need them, I willhold a drawing 2 weeks after the swap blocks have been mailed out, and whoeverwins, I will send them the extra blocks. I will take care of the postage. I dothank you for helping me out.

Now, let's share early fabric pulls, ideas, and blocks and have a little fun.

Hope to see you on our Winter Themed Block adventure.

This sounds wonderful Armylady. But, I think I will sit this one out. (As I have so many winter and Snowmen swaps under my belt that I need to do something with.) But, I will be cheering on from the side lines. I know you will have a lot of fun.

I'll be lurking, and I might end up NEEDING to join I really want to finish up the fall themed blocks, so it might end up being too much on my plate. We'll see. I'll be watching for sure. 12.5" is my favorite size for themed quilts so I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Hi ladies. Other time commitments don't allow me to join in this swap but I will be keeping up with this thread so I can watch and admire all the blocks you come up with.

    Howdy!!

Question: Are you looking for applique? Or would a 'pieced' something in 'wintry' fabrics fit too?

    i LOVE the penguins!

Another question: could a 'set' be 4 of the exact same block/fabrics? Or are you looking for 4 of the same block but in different fabrics?
