Wow, some great inspiration here. I haven't started my blocks yet, but definitely giving thought to what I do want to contribute. Love pinterest and google images also. Still working on my Halloween blocks right now. Will be going on a shop hop soon also. will be looking for a Halloween fabric and a Christmas fabric that will inspire me also.

Oh how nice! A shop hop may be what I need to. My joy block is giving me fits. I tried to get artsy and it ruined the whole look of the block. I need to back out a whole row and re-sew it. :~(

Sometimes, I do that also. Complicate the pattern when I really just need to simplify. (Depending on the fabrics and design.) I hope you find a resolution that works out for you.

I am working on a pieced Present with a Bow block and was thinking about an applique Reindeer block for two of my sets. How would you ladies feel about a Snowglobe block?

Thanks for the hand up Judith. It can be discouraging.

I just love all of the ideas and descriptions so far! I need to get back with my blocks and finish them. I can't waste south seas fabric for heaven's sake!
