Ladies, I have been going back through the thread. You are all making awesome blocks. I missed so many of the ones posted here and there. I would just be tickled with any of your blocks in my quilt.

    So ....
How is everyone coming with their blocks? The deadline is fast approaching !! Please send your blocks asap girls. And make sure there is a confirmation number on it to avoid any problems, ok? I think we all have had enough drama.

Red, I sent my package off to you today. I'm sorry to say that it only includes two sets of blocks. For my third set, I was trying my hand at foundation paper piecing. Loved the block, but I'm sewing on a vintage machine that can only go up to 12 stitches per inch. Though I tried several methods of removing the paper, I was afraid that the threads were weakened enough that if someone washed the final quilt too many times they might come undone.

The good news is, I'm going to do a wall hanging, so I can use my test runs in them. The bad news is... I only get 8 of your wonderful blocks back! Oh well, it's been fun!

    Hi CookyIN,
I understand that completely. I have done this kind of thing myself. I am glad you are able to use them in a wall hanging. That doesn't get as much heavy washing and should do fine for you. I wish you could have gotten more back, but, I am sure you will enjoy what you have swapped.

    Hi Judith!

Your blocks made it here this afternoon. They are so dang cute. Thanks for my own set too, I appreciate them very much.
