Today I received packages from Craftphanatic and Tealfalcon. Still missing a lot of sets...I guess tomorrow and Tuesday will be huge mail days.

Howdy all! Just arrived home from visiting my folks in southern Oregon. My Dad has advanced Alzheimer's but it was still good to be with him and get to give him hugs and kisses and some candy (which he realllllly likes). Not sure if I will get enough blocks made to get to you Ronda but I will try now that I am home.

I love the Rudolph legs and nose. Cute idea!

The newb has forged on, despite two days of migraine. Here are my latest. 6pm deadline for the mail pickup so will scream in by the seat of my pants.

Please do not believe any one who says a snowball block is the easiest block every... May be if you only do the 6 1/2". My 12 1/2" blocks took me 7 hours to finish. Argh, that was not part of the schedule!!

And a bit of blue for those ladies...

    Hope you like.

I love the fussy cut snowflake! Then again, I'm partial to blue.
I'm a newbie on this board and the way you do swaps, but I really like this method of making sets of 5 or 6 blocks instead of all the same one for 20 or so people.

I love that Snowball block. You did good on them all. Welcome to the swap!

Don't sweat it! My first swap was a Patriotic star block swap. I had made a few strip pieced quilts, but had never even made a 1/2 squared triangle or dealt with points. I made 2 sets of ten blocks and mailed them off! That is still one of my favorite quilts to this day.
