I don't do the math well, divide by 3.........6.5 divided by 3 is_______??? Or just the 6? I need to look at the female patterns or designs I have .............I noticed some appear to be ME, am I correct? Maybe my avitar? The suit I mean not the boarders.................. calla

I am sorry calla... What is it we are doing? I think the answer is 2.16 on the first question. But, the blocks need to be the sizes that are shown in the first post. If you are dividing the block into thirds that would be it. right? Then add the seam allowances to make it come out to the 6.5 when it is the finished mail in sized block.

RedGarnet, no problem, acutally I heard from another board member and she explained well..............so actually the block measurment divisable by 3 is before seam allowances. Sorry to make thing harder than they have to be..............duh..................calla
