Default Wonky Log Cabin~ Fall colors ~ Sign-up Closed

Wonky Log Cabin~ Fall colors ~ Sign up until August 1st

Fall is my favorite season of the year, so I decided to start a Wonky Log Cabin block swap to be done in fall colors. Browns, greens, reds, oranges, yellows, & golds. Think of the colors of the trees in the fall.

Use any size strips that you would like.
**FINISHED blocks MUST measure 12 1/2" square.**

*Use good quality pre-washed 100% cottons. No muslin. No flannel. No blends.
    *Seam allowances should be 1/4".

    1 set = 6 (12 1/2") blocks. Limit is 4 sets per swapper.
Blocks should be mailed to me in a ziploc baggie inside an envelope, with your board name and real name on each individual block by August 31st.
If your blocks don't reach me by September 15th, I have no choice but to return them to you. I will swap the blocks & have them in the mail by September 31st.

**You need to include $5.30 in stamps or cash for me to send your return blocks in a flat rate envelope. I will go to the post office & get them myself. Please no pre-paid mailing labels. Our post office does not like them! Delivery Confirmation will be extra $, if you choose. Just put me a note inside with your blocks & the extra $$.
*International folks please include enough $$ for your blocks.

Please send me a PM to sign up for this swap with your name, address & # of sets you are signing up for.

    General rules for swaps: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-20154-1.htm

Come join the fun & lets post lots of pictures of our blocks!

Here's a sample that I made. But, just make a log cabin that you love, and make it a little wonky.
Different size strips, tilted....just have fun & make sure they finish at 12 1/2".
I think I'll try another one, just a little more wonky.

Ah, I see. My plate's pretty full at the moment, but I'll see if I can come up with something. This will be a good way to use up some scraps!
