More nice blocks. Got two more s ets done today. They are Hannukah Need to come up with my last set and there is a boy dressed up in a scarf that could be done in blue but not sure if it is appropo. So may have to shop around since my idea for a piece block is not cooperating and dont want to do raw edge applique for a swap.

Thanks so much lynnie! They all were a lot of work really. The outlines on the applique takes quite a while if I want it to cover all the edges.

But, I am sure you know that... LOL!

Please share your blocks when you can. I know you are making cute blocks and everyone will love them.

Here is what my third set looks like. I am having trouble appliquing the eyes and mouth, they are so tiny. I bought some small buttons I could send along if you want. I used wonder under and ironed them on. Does anyone have any suggestions. Please let me know if you want me to send the tiny black buttons. These are 9 1/2" square blocks.

    Hi sherry,
Many people use the ultra swede (sp?) for the tiny pieces because they hold up the stitching.
