Sure, the paint sticks would be fine.

It sounds neat to me, that's on my list to try myself at some point. I'd love to see how it looks. Currently I have one set of blocks embroidered with the word joy, and another set with applique snowflakes. I'll try to get pictures posted today if I can. I'm thinking an appliqued bird with a scarf for another set, and am undecided on the 4th set.

Looking at this from a painters point of view as well as a quilter, this block if beautiful and one I would love to have in my swap package. I would also enjoy knowing how to do it. I painted on fabrics many years ago and the quality then was nothing compared to now. For my part, all it needs is a little glitter. Love it.

ok red.... sign me up. I just got my halloween blocks back and am so pleased that I can't wait to jump into this one. I will try to do four sets.

Paint blocks are fine with me too. Never seen them before so it will be something new for me to awe at lol.

You let the paint stiks cure for 4 days and then heat set them. They are supposed to be completely washable after that.
