Hope your surgery goes well Barb. I don't mind the 3 1/2" blocks, especially since we're limited to the number of them...I like all sizes...makes it interesting! :):)

Thank you all. I will have my GD to bring my stuff in and help me set up, also to come back to help me get home. I am so determined not to miss this retreat. I love going. Would it not be wonderful if some of us on the Quilt Forum get together sometime for a retreat. It is so hard to not overdue.

What is it about quilters that make such wonderful friends?

Hi girls, a few words to let you know my first OP back treatment of yesterday seems to be working this AM. It was bad last night. Please keep me in your Prayer Groups. Next procedure is Oct12 and another in Nov. I personally do not care for the remark of "No Pain,No Gain" as whoever said it probably never had any pain and 24/7 is tough. I can only say that being able to be in touch with all of you has been so beneficial to me, not swapping pieces of fabrics but pieces of your hearts. Thanks. Barbara

The treatments are only bad at first because all the pain is in panic, oh those nerves. I deal with this also, been putting off getting mine done again because not much else they can do but the numbness down the arm is starting to annoy me so will have it done. have to get foot healed first. After a couple of days, you are going to be wondering why it was not done earlier. Accupuncture has been a big help for me and massage. That at least keeps me out of back surgery so far. Glad you are aboard and ready to have some fun.
