Any new organizing goals?

SSStitches that looks great and very handy. Since there was so many great ideas on scrap batting, I've taken to cutting and sewing some pieces together so they'll actually be ready to use and not just sitting all over the place.

Yes indeed! We just signed a contract last night on the rental house we are selling! Woohoo! I had staged it a little and now get to retrieve my very handy IKEA shelving unit from that laundry room back into my sewing room! I've had the dozen shoeboxes stacked against the wall here ( hard to get to any scraps without shuffling the two stacks and it's a pain).Made everything else feel and look sloppy.) Getting that back in place will be a huge improvement to the space and my sanity! My little sister is going to be my overnight guest in two weeks and that's where she'll sleep. I want it to be restful in every way.
The closet is its own monster. Anyone else feel that way? Slap a costume on the doors and it'll be ready for Halloween. Open at your own risk.

I'm in the middle of many projects. Unfortunately for the first time ever, I haven't bothered to clean up from the previous project yet. What a mess!
I'm also in the middle of a 3 week staycation. During which time I really need to re-organize the basement. DH has a tendency of not putting things away where they came from and usually once a year (when I have vacation) I clean up the basement....so it's time!
I can't post pictures anymore on QB, so there will be none from me! Good luck with all of your organization goals everyone!

I've accumulated too much fabrics with no place to put it so I'm moving my laminated bookcases, 3 of them upstairs to the library so I'll finally get my books out of the plastic totes they've been in since 2007. Putting up laminated shelving and moving the last bookcase over a bit to acquire 6 extra feet of shelving. Plus this way I'll get all the bolts of fabrics off the floor and everything will be off the floor in case of leaking or a flood as my sewing room is in the basement. Have had a broken pipe overhead and leaking in one corner so far since moving in here. Also want to revamp my design wall by putting a piece of foam behind it so I can stick straight pins in if so needed.

I put my 4 UFOs in the same chest of drawers yesterday. Now I know where to find them. I think there are more but they must be hiding very well. Lol!
I don't have any other specific organizing goals right now. I have 2 quilt tops I want to finish tomorrow.

I need to figure out how to store my larger quilts that aren't being used. Right now I've got them in those vinyl bags that comforters and sheet sets come in (unzipped so they can breathe). Those are stacked on the chair and the side table in my painting studio--which means neither me nor Bubba the wonder dog can use the chair. I don't have closets that are deep enough to accommodate quilt hangers (old house, shallow closets). What to do?????
I also want to finish up the UFO I'm working on--but that will mean another quilt to be stored when it isn't hanging on the wall

We had company last week so my projects were cleaned up and stashed in the sewing room and it wasn't neat. I've spent this week putting them in order so I can work on each of them. Picked up two quilts from the quilter yesterday, machine sewed the first binding edge on and am now working on the hand sewing side. It will be nice to get them both done!
