Oh, how completely and totally exciting! I'm going to live vicariously through you for awhile - I have neither the land nor the funds for this sort of a project but I sure do have the WANT!

So tell us - what are your plans? What are you going to have in there? How many windows? What sort of lighting? What sort of cabinets? What sort of flooring? What's your square footage? How are you going to finish the exterior? What color(s) are you going to paint it???

I need more info so I can pretend it's mine! LOL

Are you going to be making all the choices decisions? Lighting, flooring, cabinets, cutting table, sewing table, fabric/thread storage, etc. Make sure they put in enough electrical outlets. I will also be dreaming of having such a wonderful creative space, but not now for me. You are sooo lucky!

Oh my gosh. Lucky you. My husband and I moved our house in 3 pieces. It was so exciting watching the movers bring it in and set it down next to each other. Then came the hard part. us building on and tying it all together ourselves. we had the electric done for us and we did all the rest. It took almost 5 yrs. We bought things as we needed them and went from there. I bet you will be peeking out there all day long when they get started. good luck and show lots of building pictures as it goes. It will be a fun time for you. Then you get to decorate and put all your sewing things in it.
