Default Getting there.... redo of sewing room

We moved here 16 months ago after our kids all left home and I am so fortunate to have a room dedicated to sewing. I am finally making it all mine. Just got it repainted last week from a dark brown to a nice sky blue. Just the color makes such a difference. It is so calming to come into a room and feel like the sky is all around you! Have one more picture to put on the wall, and some kind of decoration over the fabric. Waiting on a Gidget table to make the sewing surface even and I will be all ready to start sewing again. Right now it's nice just to sit in the corner and relax. Have so many projects ready to do!!

Your room is lovely with the blue paint. I'm so happy for you that you have your own space for relaxing and sewing. I finally took over one room by putting a large desk in my DH's tv room. He had been telling me to do it for quite a while. I haven't decided on a color yet. Since I really like your blue - it looks so fresh and cheerful, maybe I'll consider blue. Happy sewing and relaxing.

Great idea using the CD towers for fabrics -- very neat and tidy! Love your quilting room - very nice!

Where did you get your CD towers from? I have been looking but hadn't seen any that tall
