I store my smaller dies upright on a shelf. For my eight long dies, I found two small racks (for drying or storing dish plates upright). They are next to each other and I lay the upright dies lengthwise across both the racks. It is happy and inexpensive .

BTW, I like the idea of using labels to indicate the strip widths.

They say you are supposed to store your dies standing on the edges.

Susie, The dies should be stored so they aren't stacked on top of each other. The weight can bend or damage the cutting blades.

julia9967, thanks for the tip. I have built in shelves on one wall in my sewing room that will be perfect for my dies. I just got a Go Baby so I only have a few dies. At least I can keep them easy to access and won't have to buy anything to store them.

Thanks for all who replied to my question. I had a feeling I was storing them the wrong way but didn't know why they needed to be upright. Tks

Before I sold mine I stored my dies in one of those upright plexiglass folder racks.

I have never lived in one place 17 years. I do hope to live in our new home that long. Well done on organizing your room after floor installation. Looks lovely
