What a wonderful closet/stash. I have been debating wrapping mine (there's not much), but it sure would beat the short stacks I do have.

Ha ha! That is a 'Wacker' (not to be confused with whacker) - if you're having trouble with a multi-seam intersection laying flat, give it a little steam and a 'Wack' - it will lay right down!

After doing Country1, you can come to my house. Great job, that was a lot of work.

The mallet may be to pound seams flat where several come together at an intersection. I have read that some quilters do this to make the problem spot lie flat.
