I am absolutely bookmarking this. I am going to be moving soon, and when I do, I would really like a very neat looking sewing room. Right now I've got fabric everywhere, and am really tired of moving all the plastic boxes in the closet to get to the bottom one with just the fabric I need. Right now I have an ugly two drawer file cabinet for bills, which is also in this room, so I'm going to pull out some of my scrapbooking papers and see what I can do. Oh, have to wait, I only have that grey duct tape. But I do love your idea. And now....one more thing to do....

You know, I actually had no idea how many fabrics one drawer would hold...so I went up and counted the fullest drawer and there are 43 fabrics in it and room for a few more if I squeezed...I try not to get too many in one drawer because it makes it harder to remove and put back fabrics.
