Looks like you have a great fiancée that can help you with getting organized. Be sure to post the photos when you have finished getting organized!! I like your bins since they will keep any light off your fabrics.

Looks great! I am waiting patiently for our new Ikea, which won't be finished until sometime next summer. I love your cutting table. Definitely more useful than mine, which is just a raised dining room table. It works well, but like the storage in yours.

Sure looks great. Wish I could use the wall space better in my sewing room. I am not quite 5 ft tall and would have to have a stepladder or stool out in the way all the time. I love the look you got from yours. Great job

I love your new coutting table especially the drawers and the wall unit he made is fabulous. So keep us posted on your progress and enjoy the new creativity space.

Thank you all for your kind words. I got the idea and instructions from ikeahackers.net, under crafts. It shows it in blue but I loved the birch. I wanted to use white as my top though and just love the way it came out. For me Ikea is about 1.5 hrs away from me far but close enough.

[QUOTE=quiltnut4ever;7228977][SIZE=4]A while back there was a post of a cutting table that I just knew I had to make myself. Now I am not good with instructions I'm more of a visual. My fiancée and I went to Ikea and purchased the items needed to create this table and I actually had fun making this. It's not close to what the one quilter had done but I'm happy with the results. BTW Ikea no longer carries Expedit inste
