Nice Score. I insist that my fabric stays much cleaner when it is behind closed doors. Not only that, it is easier to hide stuff, than to display it properly and keep it dusted. My two cabinets are just painted pressed board. Your cabinets are really classy!

I recognize those cabinets - I have four of them spread out around my house - they are great. Someday, I might actually be able to use mine for quilting storage - you got a great deal!

I think those are "Whittier" cabinets and you buy them unfinished and unassembled. My husband did all of ours for me. I think they might be made in Oregon, but not completely sure. I also think he bought them at Fred Meyer - I have had mine for ages!

Thank you all for the positive reinforcement! SLK350, I have some built-in, very deep shelves in that room, too where I keep tons of things, but you know, one of the things I liked about these shelves was that they are only 16" deep...not a huge footprint in my room and I can see everything at a glance! Love all the comments!!!

w7sue, thanks for that information! I had no idea, but they are so sturdy and well made. I had planned to paint whatever shelves or cabinets I bought, but these are just too pretty, so thankfully I don't have to do that. :-)

Lucky find! I am in the same situation. I have now a spare room to reorganize for sewing. Will keep an eye out on Craigslist. Thanks for sharing.
