That is how I started sewing in my present home, in an upstairs closet. It worked ok but Hubby suggested I move to the basement level where I would have more room. He built shelves and re-purposed counters from our kitchen which were replaced with granite. Enjoy your beautiful space. It looks so peaceful in there.

Beautiful. I love your space. With my crafts I wouldn't fit in the space. I love the ball too. I really like what you did.

For a quilter, where there is a will, there is a way. And, you proved it with your wonderful little space. Love the flowers you put in the walls. These sticker art flowers, etc. are my favorite way to decorate my walls. Enjoy your SPACE. Oh, btw: you get an A+ for posture! LOL.

Great space, love the flowers.

I love the flowers on the walls! It makes your space so bright and cheery!
Is it hard to sew sideways? LOL!!! |
Isn't that a lovely space. Good for you to take the time to set it up just for you!

My sewing machine desk was built into the closet also. My husband did this a couple of years ago.
This is my main sewing room. The other room is where I do my quilting. |
great use of space

At first I was a little bamboozled until I realized the photo was sideways! What a great craft closet. I wish my stuff would fit in such a small space. It's beautiful and calming. Enjoy it.
