Ribbon Rack project
1 Attachment(s)
Hey, This is my first time here. I do some hobby woodworking and A friend of mine who does some embroidery asked me to make an organizer for her ribbon spools and this is what I came up with. I was thinking of taking a few of these to a craft show. I wanted to get some feedback from those in the know. Thanks for looking, lloyd

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. This is a beautiful shelf and it looks like it will work perfectly for ribbon. Great job. Thank you for sharing.

Hello from Texas, And yes Lloyd, I think that would work out really well for
ribbon storage. I like the idea that it hangs on the wall and not take up counter space. Good luck. |
I think it's great. I'd like a deluxe model with glass doors on the front to keep my ribbons dust free. Or would that make the cabinet too heavy to hang on the wall?

I am loyal to anyone who makes something to help us quilters. I think what you made is wonderful. Where can I buy one? I can think of others uses for it. Please let me know how to order one. Also, do you stain them?

Nice craftsmanship and design.

It looks great, I think this would sell well with stampers & scrapbookers. Keep the dowel rods thin tho because some ribbon spools are pretty small. I would have bought this in a heart beat, much nicer than the Martha Stwerd ones I'm using.

Great item, wish I had one...
